Partner Charities

Due to the large number of requests for support Quintessentially Foundation receive, we ask those considering approaching us for support see the notes below.

  • Quintessentially Foundation supports four chosen charities annually
  • These charities make measurable and sustainable improvements to people’s lives and which all have a creative spark that makes them unique.
  • Charity Partnerships are reviewed annually.
  • Each partnership is for 12 months.
  • Applications are only considered in the last quarter of the year (Oct – Dec)
  • Applications will only be considered via email
  • Applications will only be considered by Quintessentially Foundation when introduced through a connection to Quintessentially. Unsolicited applications will not be considered.
  • Only charities which have been shortlisted for consideration will be contacted.
  • Documents are to be sent to info@quintessentiallyfoundation.org
  • One document to be sent which is not more than 4 pages in length (A4)  including any images
  • Document is to be no larger than 4mb in size

What are the eligibility criteria for partner charities to Quintessentially Foundation?

  1. Does your work echo our mission to improve education, health and welfare of disadvantaged people and communities worldwide?
  2. Your charity must be registered in the UK
  3. The service provided must be independently audited
  4. The charity must be independent of state, political party, religion

Questions for applications to Quintessentially Foundation

  1. Who are your Trustees
  2. Please confirm your governance systems
  3. What other corporate partnerships are you currently involved with and in what capacity?
  4. Staff size – how many paid staff work
  5. for the charity. How many volunteers do you use to directly deliver your work What % of your funds raised are spent on operational costs
  6. What partnerships with foundation or corporations have you been involved with in the past?
  7. What was successful and what would you not repeat?
  8. What are the Financial reserves of the charity?
  9. Do you have any connection to the Quintessentially Group to date?
  10. When was the charity set up?
  11. What are the metrics used to measure your work to date?
  12. How do you measure your project’s sustainability?
  13. What would you do with a donation up to £50,000 from Quintessentially Foundation?
  14. What would you do with the support from the Quintessentially Group?
  15. What would you proactively able to bring to the relationship?
  16. Do you receive government funding?
  17. How are you working to secure financial independence from individual donors?

 

  • The decision of the Quintessentially Foundation Trustees is final
  • Quintessentially Foundation reserve the right to enter in to a longer partnership with a chosen charity than 12 months should they believe it will positively benefit the reach of the work the charity does.
