“Show the City’s heart, wear the City’s hat”.
During World Orphan Week in February, SOS Children’s Villages arranged Bowler Hat Day on the 11th February. City workers were invited to wear bowler hats to show their support for SOS Children’s Villages. The group ended up at Leadenhall Market where they listened to choral sensation Eschoir, a great jazz band and had plenty of games and activities.
We helped the Bowler Hat Day event by arranging the after party at McQueen in Shoreditch. Celebrity DJ Starsmith provided the music whilst the bar served fantastic cocktails all night long in aid of charity. We also held a fantastic raffle with prizes ranging from a bottle of Blue Label Johnnie Walker whisky, a Jaeger handbag, Quintessentially Soho membership and Philosophy skin care goods. The after party raised around GBP 4000 for SOS Children’s Villages Haiti Appeal.
