In the wake of the disasters in Japan during March 2011, Quintessentially Foundation launched our own appeal in association with The Red Cross and the Quintessentially businesses, who generously offered their assistance to provide for the East Asian country. Quintessentially also helped out via CEO Paul Drummond, who ran the London Marathon in aid of the Japanese Tsunami Appeal. Unfortunately, he had to pull out at the last minute due to a pulled tendon, but he was valiantly replaced by intern David Watkins. Banners were placed on the Quintessentially Newsletter, which is mailed out to all Quintessentially members and affiliates and Quintessentially Staff were urged to sponsor Paul and the David in their efforts. David did well, finishing in a respectable 4hours and raising over £4500 for the appeal.
