On the 3rd of July Ben Elliot, Paul Drummond, and 12 others took on the 325km cycling challenge from London to Paris to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The trip lasted for 3 days and saw the team, along with 85 other cyclists, travel through the English and French countryside towards the finishing line underneath the Eiffel Tower.
The team exceeded their targets raising more than £53,000 for our charity partner. Sadly on the second day Ben, who was at the front of the pack, was sent flying over his handlebars. Ben was rushed to hospital with a fractured shoulder. Yet despite the unfortunate mishap, Ben’s efforts were much appreciated.
Quintessentially Foundation wishes to congratulate all those who completed the cycle for their valiant efforts and for raising an extraordinary amount of money for a cause very close to Quintessentially London’s hearts.
