On 8th July 2008, Quintessentially Wine and Quintessentially Art held an evening of Fine Wine and Fine Art in aid of Quintessentially Foundation at the Olyvia Oriental Art Gallery, St James’s, London.
The exclusive evening featured a selection of photographic works, new art from Europe and the Middle East as well as renowned pieces by artists like Ling Jian, Guo Jin and He Sen. Guests also enjoyed a wine tasting with experts from Quintessentially wine on hand to give details of the wines sampled.
A silent auction was held featuring the terracotta warriors by Chinese artist Liu Fenghua, one of Chinas premier artists, who rose to fame with his famous series of work titled ‘Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses’. The proceeds from the auction were kindly donated to Quintessentially Foundation and we would like to thank everyone for their extremely generous bids.
