Q Foundation in 2009

We are very proud to say that Quintessentially Foundation in London raised over GBP 600,000 in 2009 through a number of fundraising activities.

Quintessentially Soho, a pop up charitable members club at The House of St Barnabas raised an astonishing GBP 300,000 for charity. The House was also the venue for a number of successful fundraisers, including The Only Place2Be, and The Fair of St Barnabas, which were themed evening events both held by Quintessentially Soho at The House of St Barnabas.

A definite highlight was Quintessentially Foundation and the Financial Times’ online auction which raised GBP 106,000 for Room to Read. Other activities have included a team from Quintessentially running the Royal Parks Half Marathon and community engagement, where volunteers organised a series of workshops to inspire London children. The Quintessentially Foundation has also raised significant funds through various wine tastings, gala benefits, telethons and art auctions throughout London.

Other offices got involved and showed their support for Quintessentially Foundation and our partner charities; the Hong Kong office has partnered up with the Financial Times and Barclays Wealth to put on a stunning fashion show and New York has hosted an art event at the Salmagundi Club.

Quintessentially Foundation would like to thank everyone involved for their support throughout 2009, and would like to remind you that if you would like to find out how to help with charitable work or fundraising for the Foundation we would love to hear from you.
